On October 10, the kick-off meeting of "LCP/PPS Functional Film Joint R&D Laboratory (hereinafter referred to as the Joint Laboratory)" was officially held in Suzhou, which is a R&D laboratory jointly established by our company, Jiangsu Industrial Technology Research Institute and Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center Institute of Organic Functional Materials and Application Technology, and it is also the third joint laboratory of our company outside the city. (The other two are: the "Magnetoelectric Functional Materials and Devices R&D Center" jointly built with the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences; The "Joint Laboratory of Electronic Materials and Devices" jointly established with the Yiwu Research Institute of Fudan University. ）

At the meeting, Nie Jian, project manager of the thin film center of the Institute of Functional Materials, reviewed the background and history of the cooperation between the two sides, and introduced in detail the architecture design of the collaborative scientific and technological innovation transformation platform of the special polymer industry chain of the Institute of Functional Materials and the commercialization path of the joint laboratory. The Institute of Functional Materials will support and empower the joint laboratory from the aspects of basic hardware, comprehensive capabilities, and promotion of technological achievements. At the same time, the joint laboratory will lay out a multi-dimensional value output model along the way, with the ultimate goal of realizing industrialization of the project company that has landed commercialization.

Subsequently, Hu Qingjiang, chairman of our company, and Yao Zhengjun, executive deputy director of the Institute of Functional Materials of the Yangtze River Delta National Innovation Center (hereinafter referred to as the Institute of Functional Materials), jointly signed a cooperation agreement, and Mr. Hu and Ren Tianbin, director of the Institute of Functional Materials, jointly unveiled the joint laboratory.

In addition, Dr. Cai Yimin, Director of the Materials Division of the Yangtze River Delta National Technology Innovation Center, was specially invited to issue a letter of appointment to Dr. Gao Jingmin as the chief scientist of special polymers, and officially appointed Gao Jingmin as the chief scientist of the joint laboratory.

Gao Jingmin introduced the technical background and implementation plan of the project, and emphasized that it is necessary to combine the overall planning of the film platform of the institute, strive to expand the connotation and extension of the joint laboratory, and focus on solving the original research and development and achievement transformation problems of LCP/PPS film "stuck neck" technology and products, and build an integrated solution comprehensive innovation platform covering the core elements of LCP/PPS film product design and development, special equipment design and manufacturing, batch customized production, and product application evaluation.

On this basis, Chen Shiqian, director of the operation of the thin film center of the Institute of Functional Materials, made a supplementary introduction to the organizational structure, operation mechanism and rules and regulations of the joint laboratory.

Finally, the leaders of the two sides had a warm exchange and conducted in-depth communication on issues such as product direction, action plan and cooperation model. Mr. Hu proposed that the two sides should "cherish fate, ambition, and time", and strive to build the joint laboratory into a benchmark case for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. Director Ren proposed to maintain an open and cooperative mentality at all times, cooperate with the upstream and downstream resources of the industrial chain, give full play to the advantages of all parties, complement each other, and jointly solve common problems in the industry.

Dr. Sun Zhende, General Manager of the European Region of Wuxi Richie Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd., and Dr. Qin Zhihong, General Manager of Guangdong Shicheng Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd., congratulated the signing and unveiling, and hoped to have the opportunity to carry out relevant cooperation with the Institute of Functional Materials to jointly contribute to the independent research and development of China's special functional films and the upgrading of industrial chain technology.
